SAFE JOURNEY is about a person’s determination and quest as one travels through life. That journey is best described by the accompanying legend entitled “The Birth of Kung Fu”. The visual elements and symbolism in the painting reflect the following
blessings from “The Three Gods” ~ the First Blessing of “Longevity”, the Third Blessing of “Social Promotion”, and the
Fourth Blessing of “Prosperity”. The same symbolism can also be found on tiles in the game of Mahjong.
